Personal Vocational Goals
Fall
-
I was originally scared to call myself both an artist and a football player. Until now, my career goal lies at bridging the societal gap between these two. I feel that God has gifted me with the ability to do both so I feel called to steward these both well simultaneously.
-
Lord willing, a career goal of mine would be to work here at Taylor in a full time position. If I’m not working here at Taylor, I desire to be teaching art and coaching football in a high school setting back in my hometown.
-
I believe that I have the will, energy, and technical skills to become an effective leader, but I hope this program prepares me with discernible ways to build relational and conceptual (visions and mission statements) skills to become an even better leader.
-
Long-term I see myself always on a “team” and I hope this program empowers me to think about leadership as a continuum. I want to be in constant reflection and never become stagnant throughout my career even when I am concluding my career.

I feel that God has gifted me with the ability to do both so I feel called to steward these both well simultaneously. I can not see myself doing a career short term or long term where I was not able to serve both.
